Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy
JAISI is committed to the long-term preservation of its content so that the scholarly record remains accessible even if the journal ceases to publish.
Preservation
- The journal intends to enrol in a recognised digital-preservation programme — such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) or CLOCKSS/LOCKSS — as eligibility requirements are met.
- Full-text and metadata are retained on the publishing platform with regular backups.
- Open metadata is harvestable via OAI-PMH, enabling third-party aggregators to retain discovery records.
Self-archiving by authors
Because articles are published under CC BY 4.0 and authors retain copyright, authors are free to deposit any version of their article (submitted, accepted, or published) in institutional or subject repositories (for example ORCID-linked repositories, Zenodo, or a university archive) at any time, with attribution to the published version.
