Article Processing Charges (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APC)
Journal of Law, Artificial Intelligence and Society (JLAIS) is a fully open-access journal. Open-access publishing has costs (editorial management, production, hosting and long-term preservation), which are met without charging readers or libraries any subscription fee.
Current charges
To be confirmed by the publisher. State the APC model honestly — either that there are currently no article-processing or submission charges, OR the exact fee, currency and what it covers [[OWNER: State the APC model honestly — either that there are currently no article-processing or submission charges, OR the exact fee, currency and what it covers]]
What an APC does and does not buy
- An APC, where applicable, contributes to the cost of editorial handling, production and open-access dissemination.
- An APC never influences editorial decisions. Acceptance is based solely on peer review and scholarly merit; payment (if any) is requested only after acceptance.
- There are no submission fees for entering peer review unless explicitly stated above.
Waivers
JLAIS is committed to ensuring that ability to pay is never a barrier to publication. A waiver or discount policy is available — see the Waiver Policy.
If payments are enabled, applicable refund terms are described on the Refund Policy page. For any billing question, contact jlais@aiagepress.com.
