Waiver Policy
JLAIS believes that an author's ability to pay should never determine whether good scholarship is published. Where any article-processing charge applies, waivers and discounts are available.
Who can request a waiver
To be confirmed by the publisher. How to request
- Requests should be made at the point of submission, or on acceptance, by emailing jlais@aiagepress.com with a brief explanation.
- Waiver requests are handled by the editorial office independently of the peer-review process and have no bearing on the editorial decision.
- Decisions are made confidentially and communicated promptly.
